LIBRARY (JIGNASA)
This unit was started in the year 1997 and was dedicated by Dr.N. Janardhan Reddy, the then Hon’ble Minister for Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. It is named as “JIGNAASA”
“JIGNAASA” is a specialist library for the Rehabilitation professionals in Psychology and speech and hearing professionals in particular. The library has a good collection of resource materials such as books, periodicals and online journals in CD-ROM form, Dissertation & thesis. On date, the library holding runs more than 5102 books and 16 subscription journals and 30 online journals.
The entire collection is organized in a systematic order according to the subject wise and cataloguing scheme adopted. The technical processing reflects the easy accessibility of books to the readers.
The library and information center is providing various kinds of services to the faculty and students of all the wings of Sweekaar Institution, such as:
• Providing latest books and periodicals
• Cataloguing services both manual & computerized according to author-wise, title-wise and subject-wise.
• Photocopying services
• Printing services
• Inter library loan service
• Paper clipping service
• Internet service and CD ROM services.
• E-mail service.
• Rendering effective reference services.
